A one-day workshop for parents, especially the youth, was organized by the “Wakhi Tajik Culture Association Gilgit unit titled “The Role of Youth in the Development of “Wakhi Language and Culture” in the Light of Islamic Values”.

The important points of this workshop

Out of all the important points of this workshop, we will mention only a few important points that have a profound impact on human life with the changing times mentioned in this workshop. They sought guidance on academic, professional, and future challenges and mentioned their concerns.

Key personalities of this workshop

Key personalities of this workshop who were invited due to their professional expertise were commendable in guiding the youth.

The seminar guided the youth towards freelancing and highlighted the importance of multi-skills, especially the knowledge and skills of artificial intelligence (AI) based on human minds, guidance, and its power. Awareness about the importance was also given.

Gender Discrimination in Society

In this seminar, experts discussed gender discrimination in society. Wrapping up this special topic, the speakers said that we had been trained in Islamic cultural values and that Islam is a complete system of life in which we have guidance for every field of life, only we have to follow each of these practices so that we have a balanced life. Life means living a life of equality in religion and the world, in which there are religious and worldly achievements, so all people should make it a part of their education and training.

The scope of Islamic values.

Experts say that education and training are mandatory for an individual from childhood, i.e. physical and moral as well. Every individual learns from his family and society and every individual should continue this process continuously.

In the part of the world where the Wakhi people live, they are attached to Islamic values and culture, they consider them necessary for themselves and also follow them strictly.

Islam has set equal rights for men and women. However, some rights are based on gender. And some duties must be performed within the scope of Islamic values.

Speakers in the seminar advised the youth from Tajik culture to keep Islamic values, culture, and traditions in mind and move forward in every sphere of life because we are citizens of an Islamic welfare state and abide by the laws and constitution of this country.

Importance of Islamic Law & Constitution

Yes, if there is any deficiency in a particular area or society, then it is necessary to solve the problems under the laws of the country, the constitution, and Islamic laws so that there is no disruption in society because today in the name of women’s rights in our country, so-called women’s groups want to harm the country’s identity. Speakers said that we should stay away from these activities.

Importance of Education in Society

Talking about education, the experts explained the importance of education and said that getting an education is the basic right of every individual. Education takes time. There is a need to acquire educational opportunities that can be obtained through personal expenses or any form of assistance.

Wakhi Tajik Culture Association Gol

“Wakhi Tajik Culture Association” to achieve the main goals of education and guide the youth. It was also suggested to make a plan for the future so that they create opportunities for education as well as skills and the youth can benefit from it because, in this era of the industrial revolution, they are aware of modern knowledge and skills for the future. The speakers said that in the coming period, the IT sector will have a profound impact on people’s personal life, social life as well as economic, cultural, traditional, and especially educational life.

Parenting or Parent Education

In this seminar, the need to re-educate the youth as well as their parents was also felt. In this organized seminar of “Wakhi Tajik Culture Association”, it was also declared necessary to have a new strategy for the development of skills. Experts said that for this every individual must have a creative mind to move forward with a new vision mission and achieve success in every field.

May they become a light for others and benefit the coming generation.

Education and training are inseparable but in my point of view training is an essential part without training education is useless. Training is given by parents and teachers in educational institutions whether it is formal or informal. In schools, teachers only guide education and training. Parents must train their children completely and not reduce the training.

In every society, some people are criticized due to lack of education and training, for this purpose.

“Wakhi Tajik Culture Association Gilgit Unit” The unit is commendable and organized a one-day seminar in Gilgit. Apart from this, the Wakhi people living here, especially the students, organize such seminars from time to time to be aware of the stages of training.

Importance of Moral & Ethical Education

Experts say that education and training are mandatory for an individual from childhood, i.e. physical and moral as well. Every individual learns from his family and society and every individual should continue this process continuously.

In the part of the world where the Wakhi people live, they are attached to Islamic values and culture and they consider them necessary for themselves and also follow them strictly.

Regarding the script of the Wakhi language and its publication

In this seminar held today, the speakers emphasized the promotion and publication of the Wakhi language in a systematic manner, in which it was mentioned to make the Wakhi language and literature a part of the national curriculum, which is also commendable. It should be mentioned that there are projects at the government level that the nation should take advantage of and make its script a part of the national curriculum because our national language is Urdu.

Regarding the script of the Wakhi language and its publication, I had written a paper earlier in which I had mentioned that all the Wakhi poets and elders should prepare a complete curriculum but it is sad to say that “We do not agree with each other”.

Develop nations are recognized by their language, culture, and literature

Any nation is recognized by its language, culture, and literature. If the language, literature, and traditions of that nation are lost, that nation will disappear. According to modern research, some languages in the world have lost their existence. Among them, the language of Wakhi is also included, which needs to be considered.

Some of our teachers have organized the script of the Wakhi language with the help of modern technology, but it is important at the international level, but we are the inhabitants of the Islamic country of Pakistan, so first of all, like the language of Brushishki, we also have to make our language national. It should be brought under the scope of the curriculum.
